(LSE: NORD) (“Nordgold”, "the Offeror" or “the Company”) announces today that it is launching its offer (the “Offer”) to acquire the outstanding shares of High River Gold Mines Ltd. ("High River", TSX: HRG) not already owned by Nordgold. Nordgold currently owns 630,627,472 High River shares, or approximately 75 percent of the High River shares.
