London, United Kingdom, 29 June 2021 – Nord Gold plc ("Nordgold" or the "Company"), the internationally diversified gold producer, has today published its Report on Payments to Governments for 2020.
The Report has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules Instrument 2014, as issued by the Financial Conduct Authority.
In the year ended 31 December 2020, Nordgold paid US$128.0 million in the form of both taxes and contributions for infrastructure improvements to the governments of countries in which it operates. This figure has been calculated in accordance with the accounting standards as set out in the FCA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
